Kawasaki begins deliveries of 2015 Ninja H2

All those who pre-ordered in December of last year will take delivery of their motorcycle in the next few days; H2R deliveries to occur in April

To those fortunate few who had the financial wherewithal to be able to pony up the $25K during the pre-order period during the month of December 2014 for the 2015 Kawasaki Ninja H2 (the street-legal version of the company's sensational supercharged sportbike), Kawasaki has announced that the first production run was completed and the bikes already delivered to the selected Kawasaki dealerships across the US to be picked up by surely eager customers. Hand-assembled to order at a special facility within Kawasaki's sprawling Akashi Works property, the Ninja H2 represents the inclusion of numerous technologies from various sections within Kawasaki's huge parent company, Kawasaki Heavy Industries. For example, the centrifugal supercharger is a proprietary unit built and designed in-house specifically for the Ninja H2/H2R by Kawasaki motorcycle engineers with assistance from other companies within the KHI group, namely Gas Turbine & Machinery Company, Aerospace Company, and Corporate Technology Division.

Kawasaki said that the deliveries for the $50K, track-only H2R are scheduled for April, reportedly to give "dealers time to collect additional parts such as the paddock stands to be supplied with the slick-shod Ninja H2R track bike."
