2017 Yamaha Bolt

The Star/Yamaha Bolt is Japan’s answer to the American bobber and cruiser market. Cruisers continue to make up a significant portion of the market in the United States and for that reason the Bolt became its best selling cruiser in the Star line-up when it was introduced in 2014. Its success has stemmed from being affordable, reliable, easy to ride as well as easy on the eyes.

The Star Bolt is powered by an air-cooled, 60-degree, 942cc V-twin which is also found in the V Star 950. It produces around 47 horsepower and 56 lb-ft of torque and tuned to provide strong low end and midrange torque. Along with a proclaimed “urban performance bobber” styling, the Yamaha/Star Bolt is ripe for customization. Additional features include a 3.2 gallon fuel tank, steel fenders, LED retro tailight, compact digital speedometer, and solo bobber inspired saddle.

The Yamaha/Star Bolt is priced at $7,999 and comes in Raven Black.
