QUICK LOOK: Dainese Terén D-Dry Adventure Suit

From Cycle World Travel & Adventure, on sale now!

Euro-cut adventure suit meant for all-season use. Well armored with lots of technical features, proprietary D-Dry waterproof membrane and “elasticated Cordura comfort” outer shell with thermoformed external shoulder cups. Jacket $600; Pants $400.

Chest, back, and thigh vents work well in all but the hottest weather. Removable CE-approved armor protects shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees. Soft collar places external Velcro adjustments on both sides of the central zipper—not at your throat.

Cord adjustments at the biceps and jacket hem, plus a strap at the waist, ensure a flap-free fit. Sleeves have two-snap adjustment; ankles use Velcro. Zip-in suspenders keep pants up when carrying a heavy fanny pack.

Lots of useful pockets on both jacket and pants. D-Dry and insulating liners zip in, so be sure to size for comfortable fit with these in place. Pant legs are a tight fit over many boot tops and it’s a no-go on full MX/enduro boots.
