MotoGP: One Lap Of Motorland Aragon

Moto3 front-runner Alex Rins takes viewers around Spanish track.

If you don't believe Spain is home to some of the most spectacular racetracks in the world, watch this onboard video. Alex Rins, winner of the previous two Moto3 races in Silverstone and Misano, takes us for a lap of the 17-turn, 3.155-mile Motorland Aragon circuit from the seat of his 250cc Honda.

Designed by Hermann Tilke, who also built Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, among many other top racetracks around the world, Motorland Aragon won the IRTA Best Grand Prix of the Year award in 2010, its debut year. It even has a "Corkscrew." Last year, riding a KTM, Rins won the Moto3 pole, posted the third quickest lap of the race, and also took the victory.

Third in points with five races remaining in the championship, Rins details a full lap of what is effectively his home circuit; the village of Valdealgorfa, where Rins apparently holidays and trains between races, is just a few miles away. While Rins’ commentary is in Spanish, English subtitles are provided.
