Shoei X-Fourteen Helmet Features:
The Shoei X-Fourteen helmet features an aerodynamic shell design with a dual-layer, multi-density EPS liner for impact absorption and ventilation. And as far as ventilation, the X-Fourteen had an upper air intake vent that is positioned to maximize air volume into the helmet interior where the top outlet vent is separate from the rear stabilizer, which allows it to be positioned for optimum flow-through ventilation. The cheek pad cooling system features channels cut through the EPS liner and corresponding air holes in the cheek pad foam, cooling and clearing warm, humid air away from the rider's face. The interior lining can also be removed for cleaning. A breath guard and chin curtain are also included. The X-Fourteen meats Snell 2015 and DOT 218 standards with an AIM+ (Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus Multi-Fiber) construction. The helmet weighs 3.6 pounds (approximately based on the solid color, medium helmet).
