Video: Roger Hayden/Jake Lewis Part 1

Yoshimura Suzuki riders Roger Hayden and Jake Lewis talk about the dynamic of their relationship and training for 2015

Your teammate is usually the first guy you want to beat. Hang out with on a daily basis, and even live with? Maybe not so much. Regardless, newly formed Yoshimura Suzuki teammates Roger Hayden and Jake Lewis appear to have made that situation work. For a while now, Lewis has been living with Hayden, and the two have been training together on anything from bicycles, to XR100s and 450 motocross bikes.

Most recently, the two have been training under the blue skies in Southern California and staying at Hayden's house, not far away from Yoshimura team headquarters and everything else Southern California has to offer. Here, in a video with the guys from MotoAmerica, the two talk about the dynamic of their relationship, training, and pushing each other for better results.

Lewis, a Superbike rookie for 2014, finished runner up in the Daytona SportBike class last season and was Rookie of the Year in 2013, as well as winner of the AMA Horizon Award in 2011. Both Lewis and Hayden have signed two-year deals with Yoshimura.

Here's to hoping they can stand living with each other through the entirety of those contracts. Normally, your teammate is not the first person you want to come home to.
