As the World Superbike Championship gets underway for its first visit to Thailand's Chang International Circuit this weekend, Ducati Corse looks to get us excited for the event with two quick (or maybe too quick, depending on your attention span) promotional videos for riders Chaz Davies and three-time WSBK champion Troy Bayliss, who was drafted out of retirement to sit in for the injured Davide Giugliano.

Davies scored a pair of third places at the Phillip Island round last month, and is looking to get on the top step of the podium with the Ducati Panigale R Superbike on Sunday. Bayliss returned to competition after a seven-year layoff, yet he was still able to score a 13th in Race One and 16th in Race Two after pitting to replace a blistered tire; he ran as high as 7th. “I came here for several reasons, but most of all I wanted to demonstrate to myself that I was too old and I'd get my ass kicked,” said Bayliss. “But, that wasn't the case. I still think I can run at the front. So, in the end, I'm a little angry because I could have done better, which means I still think as a racer.”

Click on the "Play" button on both videos below to catch some quick action with both Bayliss and Davies and get fired up for Round 2 of the championship. And don't forget to stay tuned to Sport Rider for more coverage from the event.
