There's Being Unlucky and Then There's Being This Guy

When riding on the street, you have to be able to expect the unexpected. That said, there's no way you could ever plan for a wheel/tire dislodging itself from the car behind you, rolling into an opposing lane, and then ricocheting off a car and taking you out.

That's exactly what happened to this extremely unfortunate rider though, he and his EBR 1190RX ending up on the ground after the wheel/tire combo came back across the road and struck the bike like it was a pin at the far end of a bowling alley lane. Fortunately, the rider appears to have been geared up from head to toe, with roadrace style boots and a leather suit.

Still, there’s being unlucky, and then there’s being this guy. Here’s to hoping your next ride goes a little smoother.
