Pikes Peak International Hill Climb 2016

The final cut

Relive race day at the 100th Anniversary Pikes Peak International Hill Climb with Cycle World Road Test Editor Don Canet aboard the Victory Empulse RR prototype race bike. Victory Racing’s bid for top honors on America’s Mountain faced added challenge as Canet was the very first competitor on course despite wet road conditions nearing the finish at the mountain’s 14,414-foot summit. The full story of Canet’s category winning run can be found in the October issue of Cycle World Magazine.
