I’m sitting in the bar at the end of the Tom Bradley terminal at LAX about to board a plane to Monte Carlo to ride the revised Monster 1200. Don’t worry, per Mr. Hoyer’s orders, I’ve packed a suit alongside my helmet and riding gear.
The new Monster gets more power at 150 hp (15 horsepower more than the previous 1200, and five horsepower more than the outgoing 1200 S), better electronics, improved ergonomics with new footpegs, and a redesigned tail and tank shape, which Ducati claim are a return to a sleek and more minimalist design.
Want to know something more specific? Have a question about some smaller details?
If so, get your questions in down below (now, now, now!) so I have a chance to ask Ducati's design and development team your questions or think about them whilst riding.
I promise to read as many as possible until I get annoyed or bored by people asking me how it compares to the previous version... because I’ll get to that.
Bonus points for asking something I haven’t thought to already answer or for being extra funny.
