Daytona Beach Bike Week is another world. Big-wheel baggers, V-8-engine motorcycles, huge stereo systems, and LED lights on everything. It’s all about showing off what you got, in the loudest way possible. The party stretches out along the coast, from different bars and smaller events along the way, but the main action takes place on Main Street right in the heart of Daytona, where we posted up to bring you some of the best, weirdest, and most fun sights of Bike Week!

Between all the live music, burnout competitions, arm wrestling—you name it—it was clear that everyone in attendance was just out to have a good time. But if the party on Main Street isn’t your vibe, there’s plenty of fun to be had at Rossmeyer’s Harley-Davidson with the many vendors, or head over to the Speedway where you can test ride anything from a new Indian Challenger to a Boss Hoss V-8 “truck” trike!

V-8 motorcycles like this wild chopper are very popular in Daytona. The lack of curvy roads in the area may have something to do with that.Morgan Gales

Between Supercross racing last weekend, the Daytona TT on Thursday, and the Daytona 200 next weekend, there’s plenty of motorcycle culture to enjoy. And if you just want to ride and get away from it all, there are plenty of popular routes all over the area.

Kicking off last Friday, March 6, and going until next Monday, the 10-day event is still just getting started. If you love riding motorcycles, or just love watching the amazing freak show, there’s no better place to be this week than Daytona Beach.
