Introduced in 2014, the Harley-Davidson Street 500 was one of two smaller displacement bikes that opened a new page for the Motor Co. Both the Street 750 and the Street 500 are powered by the Harley-Davidson Revolution X motor—a liquid cooled engine that revs higher than previous H-D models. Aside from the wider on the 750 model, the Street 500 and 750 are identical.
Designed for younger riders and a more urban setting, the Street line is both smaller and lighter than any of the other H-D models in the lineup. This comes with improved fuel economy and a more standard riding position as well, keeping the rider more upright than the typical cruiser stance we’re used to seeing from H-D.
Seven-spoke cast aluminum mags fir 15-inch tires in the rear and 17-inch tires in the front with H-D rubber coming stock. A six-speed transmission and 11:1 compression ration means that you’ll be shifting a bit, but this bike can get after it when you go to twist the throttle.
