Nine-time champion racer Valentino Rossi joins Yamaha to benefit the La Gotita Charity in Bolivia by assisting CharityStars.com with a donated MotoGP-replica Yamaha YZF-R1 signed by "The Doctor."

On CharityStars.com you can find where they are auctioning off the Movistar-liveried MotoGP Yamaha that has been autographed by Valentino Rossi. Not only will you get the autographed bike but it will be handed over to the lucky winner by Rossi himself.

The La Gotita charity is an organization that benefits underprivileged children in Bolivia by taking them into community centers that provide education, health care, and personal support to allow them to develop into adults with a proper start in life.

As well as having a livery inspired by the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team’s legendary number 46 YZR-M1, this object of desire also benefits from a personalized seat, and—most importantly of all – an autograph and dedication from Rossi on the windscreen. The winner will be able to achieve a lifetime’s ambition by collecting this object of desire directly from Valentino Rossi himself, during an official Yamaha event.

The reserve price for the international auction, which runs from October 10-30 on CharityStars.com, will be 60,000 Euros.

The money raised will go to La Gotita, which this year is working on the ‘Rayito de Sol’ project, which involves children and teenagers from four Bolivian community centers, known as hogares. This project aims to teach them English, music, singing and agriculture among other subjects. The money will also be put towards building a football pitch as well as a bakery and pastry shop, aiming to teach handicapped children in particular new skills.

By doing this, La Gotita hopes to help provide a brighter present and future for these underprivileged people, helping them to develop their personal and professional skills. By learning all these new skills, they will be able to maximise their potential in years to come.

Once more, thanks to the help of Yamaha and CharityStars.com, sporting passion and human hope combine, to help make the lives of La Gotita’s children a little bit better.
