SBS Brakes reported the team’s recent results at Daytona 200. Geoff May took the pole positions the last two years, but was unfortunately not as lucky this run around due to technical issues which ultimately had the team change the engine at the pit wall, to a rented motor, 30 minutes before the start of the race. May put in a valiant effort after the issues, coming from dead last all the way up to 9th. Cory West had a good run and perfect pitstops which ultimately led him to take second place overall.
SBS North American Market Manager, Chris Jensen states: “Congratulations to a fine podium effort by Team TSE which had a strong bike for Cory West and pairing that with great riding ability and perfect pitstops secured him 2nd place overall. In addition, SBS took 2-wins and 4-podiums in ASRA and 14-wins and 18-podiums in CCS with Stefano Mesa and Kaleb De Keyrel each winning 6-races (1-ASRA and 5-CCS). Last but not least, SBS took the top two steps in the premier support race – ASRA Superstock. Stefano Mesa won and David Loikits came in second.
