New racing kit and updated World Superbike livery for the top-of-the-line MV Agusta

MV Agusta has unveiled its 2017 F4 RC, its limited-edition literbike that is sold with a racing kit. The bike has been updated for 2017 with changes to the racing kit, and new livery based on the "Reparto Corse" F4 ridden by Leon Camier in the 2016 World Superbike Championship. Just 250 of the F4 RC models will be manufactured. MV clams 205 horsepower for the bike in standard, road-going form, while the racing kit boosts output to 212 horsepower at 13,600 rpm. Claimed dry weight is 403 pounds in road trim, 386 pounds in race trim.Courtesy of MV Agusta
The number 37 represents the number of constructors' world titles won by MV Agusta. The F4 RC incorporates MV's classic TIG-welded trellis chromoly frame with aluminum alloy sideplates, and a single-sided swingarm with an adjustable pivot. Racing suspension includes an Ohlins NIX 30 fork with TiN surface treatment and an Ohlins TTX 36 shock with piggyback reservoir.Courtesy of MV Agusta
Wheel are forged aluminum rims with 120/70 front and 200/55 rear tires. The carbon fiber bodywork incorporates a single-seat tail section, and the racing kit includes ergal aluminum mirror block-off plates.Courtesy of MV Agusta

Brembo GP four-piston radial-mount calipers grip 320mm discs up front, incorporating a radial-pump master cylinder. The rear brake is a 210mm disc with a Nissin four-piston caliper; ABS is standard, with the Bosch 9 Plus unit offering Racemode and a rear wheel lift mitigation system.Courtesy of MV Agusta
The kit parts include an SC-Project titanium single-exit exhaust system and dedicated ECU. Each bike is also supplied with a protective cover and a certificate of authentication. The bike's electronics package includes MV's Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System (MVICS) EM2.0, with torque control (four maps), traction control (eight levels) and the EAS 2.0 quickshifter.Courtesy of MV Agusta
