Updated sport-touring model available in gorgeous RC livery

It seems like we've been showing a new Reparto Corse MV Agusta model every week for some time now, with the F4 RC being unveiled two weeks ago, the Dragster 800 RC last week, and now the Turismo Veloce RC. The sport-touring Turismo Veloce features a number of upgrades over the previous model, and just 250 will be offered in the stunning RC livery. Scroll through the gallery below to see more images of the new model and for details on all the technical upgrades.

Based on MV's three-cylinder 800cc platform, the Turismo Veloce has a blacked-out engine, LED lighting, and a graphic Daylight Riding Light. The intention for the RC is that, "When the luggage is removed the bike's character is transformed and characterised by a lithe, dynamic profile."Courtesy of MV Agusta
In addition to the special livery, the RC model has a carbon fiber front fender, and forged wheels based on the F4 RC's wheels. Functional updates also include a redesigned passenger seat for improved ergonomics and comfort, and revised front engine mounts for increased longitudinal chassis stiffness.Courtesy of MV Agusta
The engine has also been updated with new valve guides for improved reliability; transmission gearing, the harmonic damper, and the chain tensioner have also been updated for reduced mechanical noise. A new six-speed gearbox allows faster, more precise shifting, while the starter motor and its associated gears have also been revised for enhanced reliability.Courtesy of MV Agusta
The MVICS 2.0 electronics package has been refined and includes eight-level traction control along with MV's EAS 2.0 up/down quickshifter. Other updates have the aim of "increasing the engine regularity providing a more fluid and enjoyable power delivery in all conditions." The engine maps (Tourism, Sport and Rain) have been redefined, and the ride-by-wire hardware has been updated for improved response and throttle control.Courtesy of MV Agusta
The RC's suspension is electronically controlled based on the skyhook algorithm, revised and tuned by MV accordingly; damping is altered on the basis of the bike's dynamic parameters to change riding characteristics.Courtesy of MV Agusta
