Aprilia's RSV4 led the Italian manufacturer to a 2013 World Superbike Manufacturer Championship title and now wears a cheaper price tag than ever before. Differences between the Factory and R model include Öhlins suspension and variable-height intake ducts on the Factory. The bike—and brilliant V-4 engine—is unchanged for 2014.

The 2014 Aprilia Tuono V4 R gets Brembo M4.32 brake calipers and Bosch ABS, Sachs suspension with softer settings, and a 0.4-gallon-larger fuel cell. Additional updates include longer intake ducts for a reconfigured power curve, shorter gear ratios in the first three gears, thicker seat cushion, and updated Aprilia Performance Ride Control (APRC) parameters.

Aprilia's Dorsoduro 750 gets a new lease on life and will return to the US in 2014, this time with antilock brakes. This middle-displacement supermoto produces a claimed 92 hp at 8,750 rpm and makes use of a three-map ride-by-wire system with Sport, Touring, and Rain riding modes. Steel-braided brake lines and adjustable suspension add to the tire-sliding fun.

Aprilia's Shiver 750 returns unchanged for 2014. Running gear includes a 43mm inverted fork and side-mount shock that provides adjustments for preload and rebound damping. Steel-braided brake lines come standard, and Aprilia has developed the engine to be powerful and reliable but also easygoing in regard to maintenance, a key selling point.
