MV's Reparto Corse family expands with the addition of the naked Dragster

Earlier this week we posted a gallery of the incredibly beautiful MV Agusta F4 RC, and now MV Agusta has unveiled an addition to the Reparto Corse (RC) family in the Dragster 800 RC. The new model, based on the Dragster and Dragster RR models, features MV's three-cylinder 800 engine in a power cruiser chassis. Scroll through the gallery below to see more images of the stunning new bike, and to learn more about the Dragster 800 RC.

The three-cylinder 800 engine has an output of 140 horsepower at 13,100 rpm, and MV claims a dry weight of 370 pounds. The chassis is MV's trademark combination of a steel trellis front section with aluminum alloy swingarm plates, and features a Marzocchi inverted fork and Sachs rear shock.Courtesy of MV Agusta
Brembo four-piston calipers work on 320mm discs up front, with a two-piston Brembo caliper and 220mm disc out back. ABS is standard equipment, and utilizes the Bosch 9 Plus system with RLM (Rear wheel Lift-up Mitigation). Wheels are forged aluminum in 3.5 x 17" front and 6.00 x 17" rear sizes. The rear tire is a huge 200/50.Courtesy of MV Agusta
The Dragster 800 RC's electronics package incorporates MV's MVICS 2.0 system with an Eldor ECU, six injectors and full Mikuni ride-by-wire. Riding aids include traction control with eight levels of intervention, and the MV EAS 2.0 up/down quickshifter. There are four riding configurations, three offering presets for the various riding aids and one with individual settings for motor response, rev limiter, engine torque management, throttle sensitivity and engine braking.Courtesy of MV Agusta
