Whereas many custom builders use booming big-inch engines and oversize everything, Cleveland Cycle Werks of Ohio zigs the other way with several fun interpretations utilizing efficient single-cylinder engines. With its orange-and-black livery, at first glance the 230cc Ace looks like a vintage Harley-Davidson SX175 – but it's really a no-frills standard wrapped in an exciting paint job. The Ace Deluxe adds an inverted fork and black-out finishes, while the inventive Heist is a hardtail bobber that could pass for miniaturized version of the Billy Bike in Easy Rider. Two Hooligan models use a bigger 449cc liquid-cooled engine and an aluminum frame; the Hooligan X is outfitted for dual-sport use, while the R model is set up in supermoto style. And finally, the Misfit is a retro-style café racer. Custom builds are also available.
