How Much Power Does The 2019 Yamaha Niken GT Make?

Dyno numbers and video on Yamaha’s three-wheel sport-tourer

Yamaha describes the Niken GT as a leaning multi-wheeler. It has two wheels up front and one in the rear, but leans into the corners like a traditional two-wheeled motorcycle. A 847cc crossplane-crank triple powers the Niken GT.

Available in only one trim level, the Niken GT has a manufacturer suggested retail price of $17,299. We ran the three-wheeled tourer on the Cycle World dyno to measure horsepower and torque numbers. Peak torque is 104.5 hp at 9,930 rpm and 60.2 pound-feet of torque at 8,320 rpm.
