Gallery: Valentino Rossi's 2016 Mugello Helmet

The one that you should have no problem spotting from the side of the track, or a mile away...

Today at Mugello, Valentino Rossi continued his longstanding tradition of introducing a special helmet for his home GP. And like so many of the special helmets that came before it, this one sports bright paint and an Italian flag, the latter to celebrate his home country and the Italian fans.

Rossi, who works closely with Aldo Drudi to come up with these special designs, has decided to keep the design of the helmet somewhat clean, with the top of the helmet reading, simply, "Mugiallo," which is a play on words ("Giallo," means yellow in Italian).

The top of the helmet features a track map of Mugello, and on the rear spoiler there's a big number, "46." Like everything else Rossi wears, the lid also features his dogs Cesare and Cecilia, and his cat Rossano.

So it's bright, has Rossi's number on it, proper Monster branding, and celebrates the fans. Is it everything you expected it to be? Scroll down to check it out and let us know.
