Kawasaki has just announced that it is selling the $25,000 2015 Ninja H2 superbike again, but only from now until Tuesday, April 21. Deliveries of the supercharged machines are expected in late May and June, and Kawasaki says this new sales period applies only to the street-legal Ninja H2, not its track-only H2R sibling.

“The initial order period for the Ninja H2 motorcycle was back in November 2014, and we quickly sold all of the available production,” explained Kawasaki Senior Vice President of Sales Operations, Bill Jenkins. “However, those orders were taken prior to the motorcycle touring the country with the Progressive International Motorcycle Show series and before the media were able to ride it for the first time.” Jenkins, who said public demand for the bikes has been “overwhelming,” explained that Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. has negotiated with Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. to get a limited production run of additional units.

To order a supercharged 2015 Ninja H2, Kawasaki says customers need to contact or visit their local Kawasaki dealership where a deposit will be taken to secure the order. The customer will then be notified when the H2 is ready for collection. The H2 and track-only H2R are both built-to-order in a special facility at Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. in Japan.
