Video: Aaron Colton's 93 Octane Stuntbike Proves The Victory Is Capable Of So Much More

Now this is the bike Victory should have made

Aaron's 93 Octane is the bike Victory should have brought usZach Cohen

Aaron Colton is best known for his stunt riding skills, and he's had a long and successful career as a freestyle rider since before he could drive a car. What many people don't know is that he doesn't have a mechanic and does all the work on his bikes, which have honed his bike building skills over the years. When I spoke with Woolie about the basics of building a custom bike, he mentioned that he had Aaron do a bunch of the testing on it and that he felt Aaron would become one of the next great bike builders.

Aaron's 93 Octane represents the first step for that. Sure, he did all the work on his old KTM 690 Duke and current Yamaha FZ-09 stunt bikes, both those were purely for capability. The 93 Octane represents his first real attempt at building a bike to meet both performance and aesthetic goals. The result? The result is the bike Victory told us they were going to bring us given their marketing leading up to the bike's release. Better yet, it's just the bike they should have a built. It's a cruiser with stones, completely American and completely badass.

The Proof:

Now for the best part:

That top photo isn't from the day Aaron shot this video. It's from something else—something more than just a pretty picture.

You see, I happened to be out riding with a few buddies on the morning that Aaron was shooting (if you look real hard, you can see me hiding in a bush as he comes drifting around that turn) and Aaron and I got to chatting and he asked me if I wanted to ride the bike. Obviously, I was in, but neither of us had the time then and I wanted to make sure I got a full experience on it and, more importantly, wanted to document it properly.

Stay tuned for a full report on riding Aaron's bike and for a full smattering of some of the most epic pictures you'll ever see (or at least the most epic ones you'll see that I'm in).

And yeah, start getting excited.
