Yamaha has kicked off the 2016 FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC) with a stunning display of bravery and perseverance during the 24H Motos in Le Mans. The YART Yamaha Official EWC Team proved that when the going gets tough, the tough don't buckle under pressure. GMT94 Yamaha Official EWC Team also showed strong team spirit that was vital in the opening round, the longest race of the season.

The YART team pressed on during 24 hours of grueling racing action with just two riders fit to race and made the impossible happen; Max Neukirchner and Broc Parkes crossed the finish line in eleventh place at the end of the iconic event, after completing 785 laps, which accumulates to more than 3,285 km in total.

The GMT94 team may not have seen the checkered flag at the end of the endurance season opening round, but their professionalism and harmony once again shone, showing that endurance is most of all about camaraderie between teammates.
