MV Agusta F3 800 Ago First Look

Limited-edition model honors 15-time World Champion Giacomo Agostini

MV Agusta has introduced the F8 800 Ago, an up-spec version of the company's three-cylinder super-middleweight honoring the legendary Giacomo Agostini. Just 300 units will be produced, each carrying Agostini's autograph on the tank and a numbered plaque on the triple clamp. In addition, each bike is supplied with a special certificate signed by Agostini. Customers will be able to choose a specific numbered bike, although No. 1 is slated to go to Agostini himself.

The differences between the standard F3 800 and the Ago version include additional configuration options for the bike's eight-level traction controls system, Bosch 9MP ABS, and forged aluminum rims that save 4.5 pounds. The clutch lever, front brake lever, clip-on counterweights and footpegs are all machined from billet aluminum. Styling upgrades include carbon fiber front and rear fenders, the distinctive tricolor paint scheme with gold highlights, and a sports-style license plate holder.

Price for the F3 800 Ago is listed at € 23.990 (about $33,000). Scroll through the gallery below to see more detail images of the new bike.
