2018 Indian Scout Dyno

The 2018 Indian Scout has a starting suggested retail price of $11,499 and is available in five colors—Thunder Black, Metallic Jade, Burgundy Metallic, Willow Green over Ivory Cream with Gold Pinstripe, or Brilliant Blue over White with Red Pinstripe. Powering this American machine is a liquid-cooled, 69ci V-twin engine.

We ran the Scout on our rear-wheel dyno in fourth gear to determine peak output from the American v-twin. We documented 84.62 hp at 8,260 rpm and 63.85 pound-feet of torque at 3,220 rpm.

Compared to the Scout Sixty, the Scout produced 15.62 more hp and 4.45 additional pound-feet of torque.
