The Yamaha XSR900 would affectionately be described as the love child between a trendy hipster and an Olympic athlete. The XSR900 is a sport heritage inspired machine with a ton of modern components, carefully blending old world style with new world reliability and performance.

The XSR900 is powered by Yamaha's 847cc liquid-cooled DOHC inline 3-cylinder four-stroke, 12-valve engine. The very same engine found in the FZ-09 which was introduced in 2014. With its introduction, the XSR900 features some notable upgrades to issues found in first generation FZ-09s. These improvements include better throttle response, upgraded suspension, and more forgiving handling, especially in sportier conditions.

Additional features on the Yamaha XSR900 include an adjustable suspension, throttle-by-wire fueling, three selectable ride modes, two traction control settings and the option to disable, ABS, slipper clutch, and retro-themed TFT Digital multi computer display.

The XSR is priced at $9,499 and comes in one color for 2017: Titanium Blue.
