2016 Aprilia RSV4 RR - DYNO TEST

RSV4 goes Ape on the Cycle World dyno

Seductive Italian styling and an exotic-sounding V-four exhaust note lends the Aprilia RSV4 RR a uniqueness of its very own in the liter-class sportbike segment. The updated engine has a new crankshaft, new Pankl connecting rods, and a new cylinder head featuring titanium valves in CNC-machined combustion chambers. A new airbox, variable-length-intake funnels, and a revised exhaust help the engine breathe while the engine-mapping system has been revised for smoother, less-aggressive power delivery. One look at the linearity and peak delivery of the dyno plot clearly illustrates the fruits of Aprilia's labor.
