Circuit of The Americas welcomes back the most skilled motorcycle riders in the world for the 2015 Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas, April 10-12, 2015. Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 5, at 10 a.m. CT online HERE, just in time for the holidays. COTA will host the first of only two MotoGP races in the United States in the 2015 grand prix season.

COTA’s 2015 MotoGP event features many new fan-friendly options, including:

- FREE motorcycle parking for all fans

- Early bird discount for three-day parking and dry camping passes

- Single-day ticket options

- Kids 15 and under receive FREE general admission with a ticketed adult

- Discounted tickets available for military, students and groups

“In just three years, the MotoGP Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas has become a favorite among riders, teams and fans,” said Dominic Iacono, the Circuit’s chief marketing officer. “For 2015, we’ve cranked up the festivities with the addition of the Evel Knievel collection and the return of the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show — plus a few yet-to-be-announced surprises."

Guests will have a chance to see rare and one-of-a-kind memorabilia from motorcycle legend Evel Knievel, who made international headlines from the mid-1960s to the early ’80s for his daring motorcycle jumping and risk-taking attitude.

The collection, which had been scattered around the world for years, will include Knievel’s motorcycles, helmets and riding leathers, never-before-seen photographs and even x-rays of Evel’s broken and pinned bones. It’s the only collection of its kind, cobbled up on the workbench of innovation and fearlessness and pursued with an undaunted attitude reminiscent of the most notorious daredevil of the 20th Century — Evel Knievel.

“It’s a lost and found story the likes of which has never been seen. To me and to many others, Evel Knievel was the embodiment of living one’s dreams, the manifestation of nothing into everything, and failing into flying high.”  said Lathan McKay, an Austin native who scoured the world to find these objects and then restored them to their original glory. “Bringing the Evel Knievel collection to Circuit of The America’s is ideal. The facility is the perfect stage to showcase EK because it too seems to have been built with the same principles in mind that are the underlying current in what drives the passion behind the resurrection of Evel Knievel and his legacy: Innovation, perseverance, fearlessness — the fabric of “Evel-ution”.

Circuit of The Americas is also excited to welcome the return of the second-annual Handbuilt Motorcycle Show in downtown Austin, set to coincide with the grand prix weekend.

Presented by Revival Cycles, an Austin-based custom motorcycle shop, the FREE custom motorcycle and motorcycle-centric art showcase will feature more than 100 wildly different custom and rare machines from world-famous builders such as Roland Sands, Shinya Kimura, and Walt Siegl, and many more.

The show will feature the American Motordrome Wall of Death, stunning works of two-wheeled sculpture and artwork for all ages,  and loads of entertainment for those with or without an existing interest in motorcycles.

The show will take place on April 11 and 12 at Fair Market, 1100 E. Fifth St., just blocks from downtown Austin.

Single-day general admission tickets start at $39 for Friday’s practice sessions, and single-day reserved seats start at $59. Three-day weekend passes start at $89 for general admission or $139 for reserved seats. Three-day dry camping spaces and three-day parking passes are available for special early bird pricing if purchased before Jan. 14, 2015.
