Supercross Media Press Release:

- The first race held in Phoenix was on March 16, 1991, and Jean-Michael Bayle won on a Honda

- From 1991-1998, Phoenix did not host a race

- This will be the 17th time the gate will drop for a Monster Energy Supercross race in Phoenix

- Ezra Lusk won his last supercross race in Phoenix on a Kawasaki in 2003

- James Stewart and Ryan Dungey are the only riders to win Phoenix in both 450SX and 250SX Classes

- Dungey earned his first-ever win in Phoenix in 2010 and gave KTM their first-ever 450SX Class win in Phoenix during the 2012 season

450SX Class: Anaheim 1 Recap:

- Red Bull KTM’s Ken Roczen earned the first 450SX Class win of his career and became the 57th rider to win a 450SX Class Main Event

- Roczen became the second rider in history to win a 450SX Class main Event on a KTM With Roczen finishing first and Dungey finishing second KTM placed two riders on the podium for the first-time ever in a 450SX Class race

- KTM swept third Main Event with Roczen and Jason Anderson’s victories

- Red Bull KTM’s Dungey earned his 48th career podium in 67 career starts. He has now been on the podium at least once for six seasons

- Chad Reed finished third, earning his 122nd podium in 165 career starts; he has been on the podium for 12 consecutive seasons

- In 13 consecutive opening race starts, Reed has been on the podium eight times

- Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto earned his 65th career top-five finish in his 76th career start with a fourth place

- Last season Villopoto finished 16th in the opening race and went on to win the championship

- Justin Barcia earned his 13th career top five with a fifth-place finish

- James Stewart has finished inside of the top five in the opening race of the season six times during his 10 years of racing
