X Games Brings Super X Back to L.A. Coliseum

This summer’s X Games 16 will bring motorcycle racing back to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum July 29 through 31 with Moto X Super X. Men’s, women’s and adaptive athlete classes will be included. If you’ve never seen Supercross at the stadium it’s well worth the $16 ticket price.

The first ever Super Bowl of Motocross took place at the L.A. Coliseum in July of 1972, with Marty Tripes taking the first win in the then-new sport in front of 28,000 fans. The rest, as they say, is history.

Other events taking place at the Coliseum will include Rally Car SuperRally, which will use the famous peristyle jump from the historic entrance to the stadium floor, BMX Freestyle Big Air, Skateboard Big Air and Skateboard Big Air Rail Jam competitions.
