Missing Marisa

Hey, where’s our supermodel?

It just isn't fair. There's a hot new double-page ad for the 2009 V-Rod Muscle featuring lovely Marisa Miller draped all over the bike—wearing highly non-MSF-approved gear, I might add—but you won't see the spread in your favorite motorcycle magazine.

Oh, yes, that Marisa Miller, the one who graced last year's best-selling Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, the one who's now lead angel for Victoria's Secret, the one who just topped Maxim's "Hot 100" list. She's homegrown, too.

"Not since Cindy Crawford ruled the catwalk has a pinup born and bred on U.S. soil so thoroughly captured the imagination of the American male," wrote Maxim's hard-working and eyesore editors.

Anyway, so-called "non-endemic" publications like Playboy, GQ, Esquire, etc. get the V-Rod advert, while enthusiast magazines like CW do not. So wrong in so many ways. If you insist, there's more of Marisa flexing her Muscle at www.h-d.com/muscle.
