We Can Only Hope This Honda CB1100 TR Will Be More Than Just a Concept…

Honda made headlines at the 2016 EICMA show with this — the CB1100 TR concept. The bike is somewhat of a clash between 70’s superbikes and the flat track craze making its way to Europe, and not to mention the bike is absolutely gorgeous.

To go along with a superbike theme, beefy Öhlins front forks are fitted to the CB1100 TR as is an Öhlins rear shock and some serious Brembo calipers clamped onto solid brake discs. Part of ghe bike’s sense of raw speed comes from the Termignoni exhaust and carbon can that sweeps up in aggressive styling. And, aside from having a retro paint scheme, the number plates also feature the number 58 in honor of the late Marco Simoncelli.

Yeah, we know, it is just a concept. But, it is one of the coolest bikes we’ve seen all week, and really hope Honda eventually takes it to the production line.

While we wait in hope, scroll down to see more of the CB1100 TR. She’s a beauty, isn’t she?
