MotoGP: Repsol Honda Team Unveils RC213V In Indonesia

It was the second year running for the team’s official presentation to be held in Indonesia, but this time it was a pit stop for Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa before heading to Australia for the second MotoGP test of 2016.Photo Courtesy of Repsol Honda

The Repsol Honda Team unveiled the new RC213V that it will campaign during the 2016 MotoGP World Championship at the Sentul International Circuit in Indonesia. Although there is yet to be a MotoGP round in Indonesia (speculation is 2018), the passion for MotoGP is high and Indonesian fans stuck it out in poor weather to see Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa at the team’s official unveiling. "I feel very proud of having been part of the Repsol Honda Team for my entire career in MotoGP," said Pedrosa at the team's official launch. "This year I’m physically feeling in good shape and I’m eager to start the new season. Repsol Honda's RC213V has a 4 cylinder “V” engine with 1,000 capacity to RC213V, which the team feels can exploit the maximum power of 1,000cc while keeping duration for 18 races in season with 7 engines. They also claim to have reviewed all the details of the new engine, making it lighter, with more power and rider-friendly characteristics.Photo Courtesy of Repsol Honda
The team's carbon fiber front brakes are provided by Brembo. For rear disk and front disk under wet conditions the RC213V relies on Yutaka steel brake disks.Photo Courtesy of Repsol Honda
