Both kids and adults will find a special kind of fun aboard Kawasaki’s KLX110R and KLX110R L duo. The stalwart playbike was originally released in 2002 and hasn’t seen a great amount of change since then due to its reliable design and popularity with both beginner riders and the backyard minimoto crowd. The KLX110R can be credited with kicking off the pitbike racing craze, a trend that led to backyard battles and campfire shenanigans among the core motocross crowd. Today it holds its place as a great youth trail bike, as easy to ride as it is unintimidating with a low seat height and smooth, steady power.
For 2025, the Kawasaki KLX110R is available in two trims, both featuring the same 112cc air-cooled four-stroke engine with electric start. The standard KLX110R sits at a low seat height of 26.8 inches while the KLX110R L features a slightly taller seat height (28.7 inches), longer-travel suspension, and greater ground clearance. The KLX110R L also features a manual clutch while the standard is fitted with an auto-clutch. Riders still need to shift, but don’t need to worry about clutch coordination unless they are aboard the taller KLX110R L.
The 2025 Kawasaki KLX110R is available in Lime Green and Battle Gray for $2899. The Kawasaki KLX110R L is also available in Lime Green and Battle Gray for $3099.
