Due to its abbreviated fairing, cut-down windshield, and lack of a top trunk, the Star Eluder is narrower, lower, and shorter (as well as 82 pounds lighter, hooray!) than the Star Venture—a good thing. Other unique Star Eluder touches include blacked-out wheels and exhausts, and a choice of blue, black, or silver paint (versus gray or “Raspberry” on the Star Venture). One happy common feature is the big 6.6-gallon fuel tank; given the Star twins’ 34-mpg rating, it allows a theoretical touring range of more than 220 miles. A GT package adds a CB radio, a navigation system, SiriusXM radio, and an alarm system.
