Watch Four-Time World Superbike Champ Carl Fogarty Slide A Triumph Scrambler Around A Wet Speedway Track

Carl Fogarty is the most successful World Superbike racer in the series' history. He racked up 59 race wins, 109 podiums, and four Superbike championships—the bulk of his success coming from his time with Ducati. The thing is, Foggy has something of a flat-track addiction, and his weapon of choice is now a Triumph.

Six months after a crash broke his shoulder blade and ribs and punctured his lung at Dirt Quake VI in Norfolk, United Kingdom, aboard a Triumph Street Triple last July, Foggy is back at it again—this time on Triumph's new Street Scrambler.

To make things more interesting, he chose a very wet Buxton Hitmen Speedway in Derbyshire, England, for some proper slipping and sliding.

Foggy—whose normal flat-track ride is a Triumph T120 with a Thruxton motor, racing cam, custom exhaust, and lengthened swingarm—takes incredibly well to what appears to be a completely stock Triumph Street Scrambler, stock tires and all (which you can learn more about in our Scrambler tire roundup here).

Unsurprisingly, Foggy fares far better than I did on my first time taking a Street Scrambler on a dirt oval, though I have to agree with his final sentiments that it hooked up and handled far better than expected.
