This Video Will Make You Ready For Dirtbike Season

Winter's silver lining is looking better and better

The beginning of August marks the middle of hot season, at least for us Southern California folk and our increasingly late summers. While our summers are great for most things, one thing they are terrible for is riding dirtbikes.

Most of our available trails are in the California high desert, which Google tells me has a temp of somewhere around 105 degrees Fahrenheit today (compared to the 80-degree ambient temperature at the office here in Orange County). But just because most of us here pack up our trail riding gear until cooler months come doesn't mean the rest of the world isn't out there ripping.

Enter David Ellis, ripper extraordinaire. David is a two-time South African Western Province Off-Road Open Class Champion. His brother Michael is a videographer and together, they make magic.

Dear summer, I love your long days, warm evenings, and tacky tarmac—but somehow I'm already ready for winter.
