Photos from Our Weekend out of the Office

Because we like sitting in front of a computer about as much as the next guy

Despite what our significant others and friends think, or what the Cycle World site often suggests, our edit team spends more time in front of their computers than on a motorcycle. Once a year, we try to remind ourselves of how priorities should stack up though, with a weekend spent up in the Sierras doing what it is that got us into this business in the first place: riding.

This weekend was that reminder in the form of Bonnier Motorcycle Group's annual Trek.

This year was a good one, too, with the staff getting a few good dual-sport rides in, Sean falling in love with the Africa Twin all over again, and Canet racking up some miles on his GSX-S1000 on an epic street ride.

We could go on and on about how much fun the riding was, but instead we're just going to let some of the photos we grabbed along the way do the talking. Check 'em out. We hope they get you inspired to get out there and put some miles on your bike, too. Even if the computer is calling.

You should also comment on here or our social media channels (Facebook is here) with some photos that you grabbed from one of your rides this weekend. Got some awesome pics? Have an even more awesome weekend than us? Posts those photos up and prove it!

Bradley went full cruiser mode on Friday with the Victory Octane. Even came to lunch smiling, despite the last few miles being on obliterated asphalt.Bradley Adams

The overlook on the top of Bald Mountain offers up an amazing view of the Sierras and Shaver Lake. It's also patriotic. We like that.Bradley Adams

Fortunately, there was an army of friends behind him. Reason 256 why we love motorcycles, the motorcycling community, and everything that comes with getting out and riding two wheels.Sean MacDonald
