More than 25,000 Moto Guzzi ever faithful enthusiasts gathered at the historical Mandello del Lario factory to celebrate the 95th anniversary of their beloved "Spreading Wings Eagle". Fans flocked in from all Europe, UK, USA, Australia, Japan, and even China to pay homage to one of the greatest names in motorcycling history.

The timing is perfect, as Guzzi is finally recovering and progressing toward a more appropriate status after years of limping badly with sales lagging below the minimum levels mentioned in the statistics. The very accessible and attractive V7 and V9 models contributed to help Moto Guzzi progress toward more adequate sales levels, while the California models clearly made their point in a more prestigious segment of the market. There is still a long way to go, but the Guzzistis are starting to believe in the brand's return and their enthusiasm showed at the event.

The 95th anniversary celebrations were well organized with the most relevant production departments open for the crowd to visit and enjoy. There were street food carts, bands, and bikes available for short rides. The queen of the show was not the latest MGX21, but the Moto Guzzi Museum, one of the largest and most complete in the entire industry. It remains one of the main attractions for the crowd riding all the way to Mandello del Lario.
