Its 43mm Showa Big Piston Fork represents cutting-edge front suspension technology, providing more controlled compression damping for enhanced feedback to the rider. A switch on the right handlebar allows the rider to select from three engine-performance settings to match riding conditions; and an electronically controlled steering damper varies its resistance according to the bike's road speed.
