Street-going supermotard bikes based on single-cylinder dirtbikes aren't much fun on anything other than a racetrack or super-twisty mountain roads. The Hypermotard 1100 EVO, however, is powered by Ducati's air-cooled, dual-spark V-Twin for an over-the-top, 125-mph-plus machine that's ready for action on any road. New casting technology, combined with a lightweight crankshaft assembly that uses an 848-style flywheel and lighter rare-earth magnets in the alternator, reduces engine weight by a whopping 11.5 pounds. Output is a claimed 95 hp with 76 ft.-lb. of torque.
