Goodbye, K1300GT. Hello, K1600GT. This magnificent mile-eater with its forward-angled inline-Six is a direct evolutionary replacement for BMW's discontinued K1300GT four-cylinder sport-tourer. Anti-lock brakes are standard, as is ride-by-wire and three user-selectable throttle-response settings—Rain, Road and Dynamic. Among the available options: ESA II electrically adjustable suspension, GPS, and a high-intensity-discharge low-beam headlight, whose servo-motor-controlled beam follows curves while the motorcycle is banked over rather than shining blindly into space as with a conventional headlight.
