Think of the new-to-the-U.S. NT700V as a smaller, lighter version of Honda's ST1300 sport-tourer. Introduced a decade ago in Europe as the Deauville, this commuter-friendly, V-Twin-powered, light-duty touring bike has a protective fairing with a five-position-adjustable windscreen, hard-shell saddlebags with a central pass-through space for longer items, and low-maintenance shaft final drive. Honda's Combined Braking System links the front and rear disc brakes for smooth, confident stops. Also available: The NT700V ABS, the same machine equipped with anti-lock brakes.
