An icon of performance for nearly a decade, the Hayabusa blends a cohesive mix of high-performance aerodynamics and a wickedly powerful engine to produce mind-staggering performance on the street and at the dragstrip. The Hayabusa got a substantial power boost last year via a 41cc increase in displacement, along with upgraded front brakes and muscular new styling. Though this moto-missile's super-stable chassis forces a sporting posture, the ergonomics are not so extreme as to rule out the 'Busa as a sporting grand-touring rocketship—with the emphasis on "rocket."
