It was bound to happen. As soon as MV upped the displacement on the F4 superbike, people began to ask when the naked Brutale would get the same mill shoehorned into its chassis. That would be now. The big-bore engine makes a claimed 154 horsepower and 86 ft.-lb. of torque, which is 10 percent more power than the previous 910R. Bore and stroke were increased to achieve the larger displacement, while a new slipper clutch was fitted. The 50mm Marzocchi fork has updated calibration, and the front brakes now use radial-mount Brembo Monobloc (one-piece) calipers.
