Heavily revised for 2009, the CBR600RR benefits from several performance upgrades guaranteed to keep the bike at the top of the middleweight sportbike class. Leading the way is a high-revving four-cylinder engine that now makes more midrange power. The new bodywork is racier, and the inverted fork is fitted with monoblock radial-mount four-piston front brake calipers. Also available: The CBR600RR ABS, the very same sportbike but fitted with Honda's patented Combined ABS, which delivers the benefits of both the Combined Braking System (CBS) and anti-lock braking.
