No holds barred. That's the message Ducati is hoping to convey with the new 1098-based Streetfighter. There's more to this model than simply ditching the 1098's cat-eye fairing and replacing its stubby clip-ons with a wide Superbike-style handlebar. A revised frame with more-conservative steering geometry and a longer wheelbase provide added stability, even under full-power acceleration. Think of it as a mega-hooligan. Also available: The Streetfighter S, the same basic machine but with special paint, carbon-fiber bits, Öhlins suspension and forged aluminum wheels, plus Ducati Traction Control and Ducati Data Analysis.
