New Bosch video makes it easy to understand—and appreciate—all the electronic nannies on today’s motorcycles.

ABS. Stability control. Rear-wheel lift control. Hill hold control. Traction control. Wheelie control. Off-road ABS. Admittedly, it's almost frightening to think of how many electronic nannies there are on some big new BMWs and KTMs. But Bosch, the electronics giant that has developed all these technologies, says these features are all designed to make motorcycling "safer and more comfortable without compromising the thrill of the ride." Agree or not, this Bosch-produced video is well worth watching. Via several on-bike examples filmed at a test track, it shows in a very clear manner how these systems work, plus how they make our riding experience considerably safer.
