VIDEO: Project 156—Testing the Motor

Project 156, the collaborative Pikes Peak Hill Climb effort put together by Victory Racing and Roland Sands Design, has an ambitious goal—winning America’s second-oldest race, with Cycle World Road Test Editor Don Canet in the saddle. In this second video for the project (Here’s the first: Team Cycle World Returns to the Clouds), we see Victory’s prototype V-twin being tested on the dyno, and learn how Pikes Peak puts challenging atmospheric demands on the engine. You try working hard and being productive at 14,0000 feet! In other parts of the video, witness the chassis coming together in the RSD shop, and learn why Canet is so excited to participate in this all-American effort.
